The 6th annual Birth and Baby Fest brings together local professionals and vendors with pregnant and parenting Tucsonans for a day full of support, learning, shopping, and family-friendly fun.​

The event features a vendor fair with dozens of local vendors, break-out mini-classes, interactive activities, giveaways, a food truck, and more!

Tucson's Birth and Baby Fest hosts an annual local vendor fair. Dozens of local vendors will be available to support and help empower you through your pregnancy, birth, and early parenting journey. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where is the Birth and Baby Fest?

The Birth and Baby Fest is located on the beautiful campus of Tucson Waldorf School, at 3605 E. River Rd. This is near the winding intersection where River Road meets Alvernon Way.

Is there parking?

Yes! There is plenty of convenient parking in two separate lots at the venue. Plus, there is street parking on Sutton Lane, which is just west of the event. 

Is there a cost to attend?

Attendance to the event - including the vendor fair, presentations, and activities - is absolutely free. Bring spending money for purchasing lunch, snacks, treats, and fun goodies for sale from the vendors.

Will there be food there?

Yes, of course! For the first hour of the event, Tucson Coffee Cart will be set up to help you prep for the day with delicious coffee drinks. There will be a variety of fresh lunch and beverage options for purchase from the Wrapido food truck. And Tucson Waldorf School students will be selling snacks throughout the event. Water bottle filling stations are available at the event to fill your bottles.

Will people be masked?

Masks are not required at the Birth and Baby Fest, but are recommended in indoor settings. Much of the event will be held outdoors, but there will be some activities and all presentations will be held indoors. In the interest of keeping everyone as safe and healthy as possible, we ask that anyone who is feeling symptoms of illness on the day of the event not attend. Thanks for your cooperation!

Who organizes Tucson's Birth and Baby Fest?

Along with some awesomely supportive, encouraging colleagues, the Birth and Baby Fest was founded by and is organized every year by Elizabeth Mendoza, the midwife behind Wisdom Within Empowering Midwifery Care.
